Hosting & server log files

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and ensure its stability and security (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). It is not merged with other data sources.

Cookies

Our website uses only technically necessary storage. Only your choice in the cookie notice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so that the notice does not reappear. We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.

Fonts (self-hosted)

This website uses fonts that we host on our own server. No data is transferred to third parties (e.g. Google Fonts) when the site is loaded.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide (name, e-mail, optionally phone, travel dates and message) are stored with us in order to process the enquiry and for any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR) and for pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR). To protect against spam we use a simple arithmetic question and technical checks; no additional personal data is transmitted to third parties. You may withdraw your consent at any time by e-mail. The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose no longer applies; mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Google Maps (only after consent)

On the “Location” page you can load a Google Maps map. The map is only embedded after you actively click. This transfers data (including your IP address) to Google Ireland Ltd. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). More at policies.google.com/privacy.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar and the lock symbol in your browser.
